Michael Rogel — AMAC Action Delegate CA-35

I have been happily married for 46 years and am a proud parent of three adult children and grandparent to five grandchildren. After a career as a school administrator, I have been enjoying retirement for the past eight years. In addition to my role with AMAC Action, I currently serve as the Chair of a nonprofit organization supporting veterans, I also volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the USO in Ontario, giving back to both my local community and those who have served our country.

Karen Rogel — Regional Representative for AMAC Action

Karen Rogel is a Pennsylvania native who relocated to Southern California during her high school years. A retired high school teacher, she joined AMAC in December 2020 and now serves as a California State Delegate. Karen is honored to represent AMAC Action as the Western State Regional Representative, working to advance AMAC’s mission across the region. She and her husband Michael have been married for over 45 years and have three children and five grandchildren.

former elected City Attorney for Huntington Beach, California, and former Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division. During his tenure at the DOJ, Gates supervised more than 100 attorneys across several key sections, including Voting and Elections, Employment, and Criminal enforcement.
