‘My Son Hunter’ – Intense Saga of Biden Family Corruption Comes to the Big Screen

In the first ever film released by Breitbart News, My Son Hunter promises viewers an inside look at what the trailer calls the “sensational, bombshell, unbelievable, scandalous, corrupt, censored, shocking true story” of the Biden family. Ahead of the film’s release on September 7, AMAC Newsline caught up with director Robert Davi (The Dukes, Magic) to discuss what viewers can expect, and why the film is so important in the current political moment.

“If you like good movies – if you like Wolf of Wall Street or American Hustle, if you like the Godfather, stories with a true essence about them – you will like this movie,” Davi said. “It’s as if the Hunter Biden laptop exploded on the screen in all its full technicolor.”

But Davi was quick to note that the project is hardly a tabloid-style hit piece. “It’s not something we did to just demonize Hunter,” Davi noted. “You’ll notice in the film, I don’t denigrate drug addiction, because it’s a big problem in America today. are going to see how the addiction enabled to be manipulated in a certain way.”

The narrative heft of the film is carried by a secret service agent (Gina Carano), who does the bulk of the speaking at the audience (think Leonardo DiCaprio’s monologues in Wolf of Wall Street). The story follows Hunter Biden (Lawrence Fox) as he works to peddle the influence of his father, Joe Biden (John James), with multiple foreign dignitaries. At the same time, the younger Biden descends into a life of depravity and debauchery. Through the eyes of a 25-year-old left-wing activist named Kitty (Emma Gojkovic), working as a stripper to pay her way through college, audiences get a glimpse into how the media and Big Tech engage in a conspiracy to cover up the Bidens’ crimes ahead of the 2020 election.

Davi emphasized how much research went into the film, particularly when it came to capturing the personalities and true character of the Bidens.

“This is not a true story except for all the facts” Davi joked with AMAC Newsline. “The bones are the structure of what happens – we put on the flesh and blood to propel the story forward… I researched Hunter’s book , studied him as a person. It’s my job as the director and as an artist to take these facts and dramatize them in a way the humanizes him.”

Asked about why he chose to make a movie rather than a documentary, Davi highlighted the importance of making enjoyable content that appeals to ordinary people: “Andrew used to say that politics is downstream from the culture. A lot of conservative films don’t get that. But people are going to watch this and say ‘wait a minute, this is much more nuanced than I thought.’ And it’s more powerful that way. Viewers are going to get an emotional connection to Hunter and Joe Biden that they hadn’t gotten before, while at the same time they are going to be outraged as they have never been before when they see the level of manipulation and influence peddling that was going on behind the scenes that the American media and even the FBI was trying to keep under wraps.”

Davi also told AMAC Newsline that the fact that the film was crowdfunded speaks to the public’s hunger to learn the truth about those in power. “It’s important for the American people to support this film because we need more cultural awareness about our leaders, and to know what they have done,” he told AMAC Newsline. “If people watch the film, it has to change hearts and minds – they have to see a story that they have been ‘protected from’ by the media.”

With the midterm elections quickly approaching, AMAC Newsline asked Davi if he thought the film had the potential to help Republicans by exposing the corruption of the Biden family. “If we present this film to the American people and say, ‘just show your friends, it’s entertainment, it’s fun, it’s enjoyable,’ they’re going to watch and then say to themselves ‘I can’t believe that’s who is in the White House,’” Davi said. “And from there people will make their decision. So yes, I do think this film has the potential to have a tremendous impact. It’s not a proselytizing straight-on attack. It’s entertainment, which is a very effective medium.”

Davi also shared some of the challenges associated with making the film – including that, at the beginning, the entire left-wing ecosystem was vigorously denying that the infamous “laptop from hell,” which serves as a major source material for the movie, even existed. “When we started making this film in October of 2020, no one was even admitting there was a laptop at all,” he said. “We finished the film and suddenly the New York Times and other outlets finally admitted that the laptop was real. So we were way ahead of the curve on this – but this is the left in America. This is the Marxist cultural element in America that has a certain narrative that they stick to, and it’s up to the patriots watching this film saying ‘you know what, we love this country, we love the truth, and we want to know more,’ who are the real heroes here.”

At the end of the interview, Davi stressed the importance of bringing My Son Hunter to as many people as possible. “This film is a tool that the American public needs to know about,” he said, invoking President Ronald Reagan’s plea for “informed patriotism” in his farewell address. Following Donald Trump’s victory in 2016, Davi penned an article for Breitbart harkening back to Reagan’s warning about the importance of an informed public. For Davi, My Son Hunter is a way to spread information that the mainstream media, Big Tech, and elected Democrats have fought desperately to suppress.
