Fancy Fruit Kabobs With Dip

Fancy Fruit Kabobs With Dip

Serves 8

This is an ideal refreshing summertime snack or dessert. While this dessert is generally adult and kid friendly, note that young children should NOT handle sharp skewers. Rather, adults can remove the fruit before serving to young ones. Because the kabobs are uncooked, there is no need to soak wood skewers beforehand. However, do choose high quality skewers that are not splintered.

Fruit Skewer Ingredients:

  • 1 dozen wooden fruit skewers
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup halved strawberries
  • 1 cup watermelon chunks
  • 1 cup mango chunks
  • 1 cup seedless red grapes
  • 1 cup cantaloupe chunks
  • 1 cup large blueberries
  • 1 cup cut kiwi

Fruit Skewer Directions:

Alternate the cut fruit pieces on the skewers. Be sure to pack each skewer tightly with assorted fruit. Place prepared skewers on a large platter. If preparing ahead of time, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Easy fruit dip

Dip ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. whipped topping, thawed

Dip instructions:

Using an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese on medium speed until smooth creamy. Add the marshmallow cream and beat again until well combined. Using a spatula, fold in the whipped topping. Place fruit dip in a serving bowl. If preparing ahead of time, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Looking for other healthy recipes?
